Painting as expressive gesture
Natalija Cimeša is a renowned visual artist whose work bridges tradition and modernity, emotion and form. Rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina, her creations reflect a deep sensitivity to human experience, myth, and movement.
She offers original paintings, drawings, and custom mosaics for private collectors, public spaces, sacred interiors, and institutions. Each piece is crafted with technical mastery and expressive depth—whether it’s a dynamic oil painting, a subtle pencil sketch, or a monumental mosaic wall.
Natalija also creates commissioned works, including personalized portraits, symbolic murals, and large-format installations tailored to architectural and spiritual spaces.
Her art is not just decoration—it is a statement, a story, and a legacy.
Born in 1972 in Bijeljina, Natalija Cimeša studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Trebinje and completed a master's degree in mural painting at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. She has taught drawing and painting as an assistant and assistant professor.
Her body of work spans large-format painting, monumental mosaic and sculpture — a complete, many-sided practice that joins academic discipline with the expressive force of colour.
“A complete, many-sided artist.”
